What we process, why we need it, and when conversation data is permanently deleted.
Conversation data is retained for a maximum of 30 days.
After that period, conversation content is permanently removed from MicroLink history and cannot be restored through the application.
What data do we process?
When you use MicroLink, we process data needed to provide the service, such as your name and profile, message content, attachments, timestamps, delivery/read states, and basic technical information.
What is deleted after 30 days?
Conversation history beyond the retention period is permanently deleted from MicroLink. This includes text messages and related message data. Chat attachments such as images, documents, videos, and voice notes follow the same conversation-retention policy.
Why only 30 days?
We limit retention so old data is not kept without a continuing need. This supports data minimization, reduces exposure of historical information, and keeps the service efficient.
Voice/video calls and Screen Share
MicroLink is not designed to automatically record the content of voice calls, video calls, or Screen Share sessions. Limited technical information may be processed to operate and secure these features. Screen Share starts only after the user grants permission through the device or browser.
Account data is not automatically deleted after 30 days
The 30-day rule primarily applies to conversation data. Account information such as login identity, profile, and settings may remain while the account is active or while needed to provide the service.
Workspace deletion and permanent purge
A Workspace Owner may schedule Workspace deletion. The Workspace enters a 30-day grace period during which deletion can be cancelled. After the deadline, MicroLink permanently purges Workspace operational data from the database and associated storage. A minimal sanitized financial record may be kept only for a separately configured finite retention period.
Security and exceptional retention
We use security controls appropriate to the service. In exceptional cases where retention is required by law or a legitimate dispute-resolution process, certain data may be retained for the required period.
In short
MicroLink conversation history is retained for a maximum of 30 days. After that, conversation data is permanently removed from service history and is no longer available through MicroLink.
